Valpolicella and Soave by Prà
Itinerary
The Prà winery was designed as a space conciliation between the most modern technology in the cellar and a familiar welcoming environment in a cottage in full harmony with the rolling hills of Soave. Graziano has thought of tasting the environment as a living room, which includes daily enthusiasts and professionals who want to know our territories and taste our wines.
We asked to Prà family to share with us a special itinerary around their estate, to discover the uniqueness of their land. This is a 4-days tour around Valpolicella and Soave region.
Eat & Drink
A picnic with our local products for lunch at Monte Bisson, through the hills of Soave Classico, is organised by Prà. It requires a short walk to reach the top of the hill and camp at the foot of a tower built in the XXVI century.
An aperitif in Piazza Erbe, in Verona (and a short visit to see Juliet's balcony). Dinner at the Bottega del Vino, the oldest restaurant in Verona and risotto con vino amarone (full-bodied red wine from the Valpolicella area) is the restaurant’s signature dish.
In Lessinia, have lunch at Via Verde. After lunch, you can visit their dairy, staying overnight at their inn with spa. For dinner, try 13 Comuni.

In Sirmione, an aperitif at the Jamaica Bar. Going to Jamaica beach, there is a natural spring of thermal water where it is wonderful to get your feet wet as the water is boiling right on the lake shore.
Discover
In Verona, take a walk from Piazza Brà along the promenade along Castelvecchio, until you reach Ponte Pietra. You can take the funicular to reach Castel San Pietro, the most panoramic point of the city. Then go down on foot and reach Piazza Erbe.
Reach the Lausen refuge in Lessinia (available only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday). You can stay overnight in the refuge and go down the next day.
Treat yourself with a relaxing day in Sirmione at the Aquaria thermal baths, which are of Sulphurous water, and used as a therapy for many respiratory ailments and more.
Stay
For a group of four people (two couples), Prà can makes available an overnight stay at their farm. For larger groups we suggest: Locanda ai Capitelli, Damaranto inn and residence, Locanda Lo Scudo.
Another cool tip: sleep at La Finestra sul Fiume in Borghetto.
Visit & Taste
Prà winery tour in Monteforte d'Alpone includes the vinification cellar with bottling lines and steel tanks, the area for receiving the grapes, destemming and crushing and the underground aging barrel.
Pila Vecia di Ferron, which is the place of harvest and refinement of the rice grown in Veneto plains. You can will the risotto, one of the typical dishes of Verona.
